The runner-up and third places belong to Nha Trang and Phu Quoc. Last year, Phu Quoc was the most searched destination on the platform.

Da Nang has been one of the most popular destinations for tourists in Vietnam.

Other destinations in the top 10 are Hoi An, Hue, HCMC, and Hanoi. Cities along the coastal lines of Vietnam are still favored by most tourists, either domestically or internationally.

Huynh Mai, 33, from HCMC, said that she would come to Da Nang this summer with her family. It will be the fifth time she has come to Da Nang.

"I have been to Da Nang many times before, and it remains my favorite destination in Vietnam. The flight route is convenient. There are also many activities to do at a reasonable price," she said.

Da Nang continuously improves its tourism quality. It has also developed a wide range of activities for tourists of all ages.

The coastal city is also the host of the Da Nang International Firework Festival from June 2 to July 8. There are eight teams representing eight countries joining the festival. This annual event is expected to be a hit for Da Nang tourism this year.

Da Nang is favored by foreigners for its convenient location. There are many direct flights from other countries. It is also easily connected to Hanoi and HCMC. Its safety and abundance of attractions for tourists are also pluses.
