Ethnic Tay beauty crowned Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022

Nong Thuy Hang, a 23-year-old ethnic girl from Ha Giang Province excellently overcame the 29 contestants to be crowned Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022 in Ho Chi Minh City on July 16.

Hai Duong-based Luong Thi Hoa Dan from the Kinh ethnic group and Thach Thu Thao from the Khmer were the first and second runners-up.

Film producer and actress Truong Ngoc Anh, head of the organising board of the contest to crown Nong Thuy Hang.

After the last event held in 2013, this year's competition received investment on a large scale. The contest jury includes: Miss Earth 2021 Destiny Wagner,Miss Earth 2020 Lindsey Coffey, Master - designer Si Hoang who is also head of the organising board, director Quang Dung, Ambassador of the contest - Miss H 'Hen Nie, businessman-speaker Nguyen Phi Van, and businessman Dang Thanh Hang.

Some sub-prizes were awarded in the contest such as 'Most Favoured Contestant' Vu Thi Thao Ly; Miss Tourism Nguyen Thi Quynh Trang; Identity Miss Dang Thi Kim Le; Miss National Costume Thach Thu Thao; Miss Inspiration Hoang Thi La; Miss Media Nguyen Hong Diem; Miss Talent H'vi Kela; and Miss Photogenic Do Thi Hoa.

The Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022 contest is expected to become a cultural ambassador that introduces the best of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam to the Vietnamese community in particular and the world in general.

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2022

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau, a 28-year-old beauty from Tay Ninh Province, was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 at the pageant’s finale held in Ho Chi Minh City on June 25.
