HCMC airport’s Terminal 3 set for completion in 2023

Work is set to begin on the Tan Son Nhat International Airport’s third terminal in October 2021 and be completed in 2023.
13,800 workers needed to build, operate Long Thanh Airport
The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam estimates the first phase of building and operating the Long Thanh International Airport will need 13,800 workers. Of these, 470 will be at the managerial level and the rest with varying degrees of skills and competence in different sectors including construction, transport and aviation.

Major airports suspend receiving passenger flights from RoK amid COVID-19
The Hanoi-based Noi Bai International Airport and Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City has suspended receiving flights carrying passengers from the Republic of Korea (RoK) due to the complicated developments of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) as from March 1, said the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam (CAV).
How Long Thanh airport will be built
Long Thanh International Airport in the southern Dong Nai Province will have an annual capacity of 25 million passengers when built in 2025.
