January’s State budget revenue estimated at 7.78 billion USD

Vietnam’s total State budget collection in January is estimated at 183.7 trillion VND (7.78 billion USD), equal to 11.3% of the yearly estimate and down 0.5% year-on-year, announced the Ministry of Finance on February 7.
Specifically, the domestic revenue is estimated at 160.4 trillion VND, up 3.1% y-o-y, and that from crude oil at 5.3 trillion VND, up 67.7% y-o-y.

Meanwhile, import-export activities contributed about 28 trillion VND to the State budget, equivalent to only 65% of that in the same period last year.
On the other hand, total State budget expenditure in the month was estimated at 114.9 trillion VND, equaling 5.5% of the yearly estimate.
For the development investment expenditure alone, the total planned investment capital from the State budget for 2023 is 756.1 trillion VND.
14 out of 16 budget collections surpass yearly target
(BGO) – Since early this year, total revenue collection in
Bac Giang province has hit about 14.9 trillion VND (600,000 USD), exceeding
nearly 19 percent agaist the estimatation assgned by the provincial People’s
Committee in 2022 and 2.7 percent year on year, reported the provincial
Taxation Department.
Budget collection from import-export up 14.6%
Budget collection from import-export activities topped 362.4 trillion VND (14.57 billion USD) in the first 10 months of this year, equivalent to 86.3% of the set target and up 14.6% year-on-year, according to the General Department of Customs.

State budget collection almost reaches yearly target
State budget collection in the January-September period was estimated at over 1.32 quadrillion VND (55.9 billion USD ), reaching 94% of the yearly target, and up 22% from the same period last year, according to Deputy Finance Minister Nguyen Duc Chi.
