New jobs created for more than 30,700 workers
BAC GIANG - Implementing the plan to create jobs for labourers in 2024, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs in Bac Giang province directed specialized departments to closely coordinate with related sectors, districts, towns and city to pay attention to forecasting human resource needs by field and level.
At the same time, the competent agencies propagates policies to support sustainable employment and career transition to poor households, near-poor households and newly escaped poverty households as regulations.

As a result, since the beginning of this year, the province has created more than 30,700 new jobs, reaching more than 95.4% of the yearly plan. Of which, nearly 28,300 people work domestically and the rest work overseas as guest labourers.
Most employees come from Lang Giang, Yen Dung, Tan Yen, Luc Nam districts and work in the industries such as electronics, garment, construction, mechanics, sales staff.
To complete the plan of job creating in 2024, in November, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs directed the Provincial Employment Service Center to focus on innovating job fairs, supporting businesses and workers to access information and interviews conveniently.
Also, the labour sector enhances inspections and manages employment service activities so as to limit violations of the law in this field.
In recent years, the number of Vietnamese workers to Japan has accounted for more than 50% of the total number of workers sent abroad annually. Labour cooperation between the two countries has become increasingly valued and seen remarkable development.
