Next Media gains exclusive broadcasting rights to King’s Cup 2019

Next Media has signed a deal with Thairath TV to purchase the broadcasting rights of two matches at the King’s Cup 2019.
Under the contract signed by Next Media, the company will own the exclusive broadcasting rights to show both of Vietnam’s matches at the tournament through all forms of media, including on social networks.

The value of the contract has yet to be unveiled. However, it is predicted to be in the region of US$280,000 (equivalent to VND7 billion).
Next Media has also not yet revealed which television station will be responsible for broadcasting the matches live.
The opening match of the King’s Cup 2019 will see Curacao, ranked 82nd, take on India, ranked 101st, at 15:30 on June 5.
Later that same day Vietnam, ranked 89th, are scheduled to play the host nation Thailand, ranked 114th, at 19:45.
