Ngoi village pottery on display at Bac Giang provincial Museum

BAC GIANG - On November 21, the Bac Giang Provincial Museum organized a number of activities to celebrate Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day, November 23. The highlight was the programme themed "Soul of Ngoi Village Pottery - Quintessence of Traditional Craft" with various activities of displaying products, performing and experiencing Ngoi Village pottery that attracted a large number of visitors and students from Bac Giang City.

Here, the artisans introduced the history of the formation and development of Ngoi Village pottery. With constant efforts, for nearly 20 years, Ngoi village artisans have created their own path and affirmed a brand that is both unique and simple, elegant, bearing the folk soul of Kinh Bac countryside.

In particular, the most unique and popular product today is the large-sized mural embossed on brown ceramic material with two typical colors of melon glaze and clay bone.

Also within the framework of the programme, visitors and students had the opportunity to interact and learn about the pottery villages in Bac Giang; traditional pottery production technology; history and characteristics of Ngoi village pottery products.
