Quang Ninh Province bustles with traditional spring festivals
Three traditional spring festivals opened in the northern province of Quang Ninh on February 28, attracting large numbers of visitors and local people.
The Quynh Lam Pagoda Festival kicked off in Trang An Ward, Dong Trieu City, Quang Ninh Province, gathering the enthusiastic participation of Buddhist monks, nuns, and followers from inside and outside Quang Ninh Province.

The three-day festival includes a water procession, drum performances, and incense offerings to pray for national prosperity and peace.
Vibrant cultural, artistic, and sporting event are also being held during the festival.
On the same day, the Bang Ca Village Festival was held at the Dao Thanh Y Cultural Preservation Area in Ha Long City.

Visitors to the event can enjoy art performances and compete in numerous folk games such as tug-of-war, stick pushing, volleyball, and chess competitions.
Xa Tac Temple is located on the banks of Ka Long River, which is the natural border between Vietnam and China in Mong Cai City, Quang Ninh Province.
The ancient temple was built to worship the Land Genie and those who originally claimed the area, and now protects the local people and blesses them with bumper harvests.
As many as 8,928 blood units were donated at the Xuan hong (Red spring) blood donation festival that ran from February 8 to 16 at the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion (NIHBT).

BAC GIANG- On February 13 morning, the people’s committee of Luc Nam district held the opening ceremony of Than Nong (God of Agriculture) temple spring festival and tree planting festival in the New Year of the Snake. This event is one of the activities in the 2025 Bac Giang Culture-Tourism Week.
The Con Son – Kiep Bac Spring Festival 2019 commenced in the northern province of Hai Duong on February 13, the 16th day of the first lunar month.
With approximately 8,000 festivals held across the country, these events are not only an occasion to honour the contributions of the past generations but also serve as a means of strengthening community bonds and preserving national identity.
