Set of stamps released to celebrate SEA Games 31

The Ministry of Information and Communications has released a stamp set in celebration of the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31).

The collection includes four stamps and one postage stamp block, illustrating Vietnam’s five-strongest sports including athletics, shooting, swimming, gymnastics and football.

The stamps, measuring 32mm by 43mm, are priced at 4,000 VND each, while the 80mm by 100mm postage stamp bloc is 15,000 VND.

The set is designed by painters Tran The Vinh and Nguyen Du from the Vietnam Post Corporation.

The stamps’ background features the ASEAN symbol in bright colours, representing the solidarity of the bloc’s member countries which are all on the way towards prosperity and development.

Images of the 31st SEA Games’ logo and mascot are allowed to be used in the stamp collection by the Games Organising Committee, while images of sports and characters painted on the collection are granted permission from relevant agencies and individuals.

The set is available in public postal network branches across the country from May 12, 2022, to December 31, 2023.
