Two Vietnam resorts honored world's best for wellness retreats
Six Senses Ninh Van Bay in the beach resort city Nha Trang won the "Eco hotel of the year" category.

Covering an area of 900 square meters, the resort is located on a secluded peninsula, around 60 kilometers from the city downtown, and can be only accessed by boat.
The resort has 62 villas surrounded by lush greenery and is one of a few resorts in Vietnam to protect critically-endangered black-shanked douc langurs.
The resort last year collected over 611 kg of trash from local beaches, provided access to clean drinking water to 2,504 local people, and gave away 300 reusable water bottles to students, it wrote on its website.
At the resort, no single-use plastics are allowed.
The Mi Sol Journey package at Mi Sol Spa of InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort in Da Nang was named the winner of the "Holistic Treatment of the Year" category.
The package includes detoxifying herbal steam and sauna session, a sensory journey for relaxation, with guided Pranayama (a breathing exercise), and body scrub with walnut shells and cinnamon.
Built on the hills of Son Tra Peninsula in Da Nang, the resort comes with a private beach stretching 700 meters and an infinity swimming pool.
The resort has 201 luxurious rooms, suites, penthouses, and villas that offer views of sandy beaches and tropical forests covering Son Tra Peninsula, which acts as a natural shield for Da Nang.
In addition, Creative Healing Retreat at TIA Wellness Resort in the central city of Da Nang ranked second for "Wellness Program of the Year" category, coming after Glowing Flow of the Heart Retreat in Italy.
The Destination Deluxe Awards honor the leaders and pioneers in wellness and travel.
It spans 25 categories and are evaluated by a group of 20 judges, who are well-respected industry experts.
The awards are extremely accessible, as all hotels, resorts, retreats, spas, and skincare companies are eligible for nomination.
