Vietnamese students win big at international math competition in India
Vietnamese students won 16 individual and 5 team prizes at the India International Mathematics Competition (InIMC) 2024, which took place in Lucknow, India, from July 26 to 31.
In the individual category, 16 out of the 17 Vietnamese students participating in the contest brought home medals, including three gold, six silver, six bronze, and one consolation prize.

Of which, the three gold medals were claimed by Nguyen Dang Khanh and Nguyen Phong Chau from Newton Grammar School and Nguyen Duc Minh from Hanoi-Amsterdam School for the Gifted.
In the team event, the Vietnamese delegation bagged two championships, one first prize and two second prizes.
InIMC 2024 was hosted by City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus-I, Lucknow, under the aegis of the International Mathematics Competition (IMC) Executive Board.
The event drew the participation of more than 600 young contestants from 30 countries and territories worldwide.
