Youths from 59 universities attend students’ festival in Hanoi

The Hanoi Students’ Festival kicked off at the Academy of Finance on April 22, attracting around 5,000 youth union members and students from 59 universities and colleges in the capital city.

The event is jointly held by the Hanoi municipal Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Vietnamese Students Association (VSA), and the Academy of Finance.

Festival-goers can take part in an array of activities, including an English contest, a book fair, and a cultural space, introducing the typical cultural features in Vietnam, Japan, Laos, Germany, and China.

A seminar on digital transformation in the financial-banking sector, a skill-sharing workshop, a teambuilding programme and a music night, are also scheduled within the framework of the festival.

At the opening ceremony, the organising board presented the ‘Sinh Vien 5 Tot’ (Five-Virtue Students) award to 46 collectives and 53 individuals, who showed good morality, high academic achievement, enthusiastic participation in voluntary service, and impressive community engagement over the past year.
