Despite rain triggered by storm Damrey, all CEOs wake up at 5 a.m to prepare for the tournament organized as part of the APEC 2017 Meeting. They have to book in advance to attend, as the golf course’s maximum capacity is just 120 people.

Mai House Hoi An Luxury Golf & Resort is located between Danang city and the ancient town of Hoi An. Covering an area of 70 hectares, the 18-hole golf course is situated next to beaches and Ngu Hanh Son Mountain, and was designed by golfing legend Colin Montgomerie.

According to Rollen, a member of staff at the resort, natural grasses are imported and woven into the golf course. The resort is also the venue for a cocktail dinner welcoming more than 1,000 leading CEOs from Vietnam and around the world.
