170,000 labours to come back work on sixth day of lunar January

(BGO) – According to the Management Board of the Industrial Park in Bac Giang province (MBIP), about 170,000 labours will come back work at 400 businesses at the provincial industrial parks on January 27, 2023 or the sixth day of Lunar New Year, few enterprises reopen production on January 30.

13 companies in the industrial parks arranged nearly 4,100 labours to work through Tet holiday, typically JA Solar Vietnam Company Limited in Quang Chau industrial park (1,500 workers), Hana Micron Vina Company Limited in Van Trung industrial park (400 workers), ET Solar Company Limited in Quang Chau industrial park (300 workers)…

Currently, 403 companies have operated in the provincial industrial parks to create job for 175,000 labours, including nearly 60,000 from other provinces and cities.

Ahead of the biggest festival this year, the MBIP cooperated with the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Trade Union at the provincial industrial park to supervise the payment of salary and bonus to labour so as to ensure their life during Tet holiday while instructing grassroots trade unions to report on production, business and welfare policies for the trade unionists and labours.
