210 Samsung scholarships to be awarded to Bac Giang impoverished students
BAC GIANG - In November 2024, the Bac Giang Provincial Association for Education Promotion and Samsung Electronics Vietnam Company Limited plan to award 210 Samsung scholarships to disadvantaged secondary and high school students in Bac Giang province who have achieved good or excellent academic performance.
Each scholarship is worth 2 million VND and a gift. The total value of gifts and scholarships is more than 500 million VND (over 21,300 USD).

Each district and township has 20 students receiving scholarships, including 18 students in Bac Giang city; 12 scholarships for students at the provincial Ethnic Boarding School.
This is the 8th year that Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. has allocated its welfare fund to award scholarships to students in the province.
Since the program began, the business has awarded 1,600 scholarships worth nearly 2.5 billion VND to Bac Giang students.
In addition, the enterprise pays due attention to investing and supporting many social security programs and projects in the province, including the "Samsung Hope School" project in Hiep Hoa district with a total value of 19.7 billion VND which was inaugurated and put into use from 2021.
Thirty-two Vietnamese students have been awarded full scholarships from Taiwan, selected from a pool of 250 applicants—the most competitive selection rate to date.
The Cuban Government will grant 15 full scholarships for tertiary training to Vietnamese students, in the 2024-2025 academic year, including eight scholarships for medicine and seven for other majors, Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training has announced.
BAC GIANG - On May 16, Tran Duy Phuong, Principal of Bac Giang High School for the Gifted, informed that two 12th graders of the school have just won scholarships from prestigious universities in the US. They are Ta Thuy Trang (born 2006) in Mathematics class and Pham Tuan Cuong (born 2006) in Chemistry class.

The Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) has announced that the Romanian Government will grant 21 scholarships to Vietnamese citizens in 2024 to study in the European country.
At least 2,000 Vietnamese students will be sponsored by Taiwan with plane tickets, tuition fees, and living expenses to study in semiconductor and engineering fields this year.
