10 Bac Giang students awarded Vallet scholarships
BAC GIANG – The Rencontres du Vietnam (Meeting Vietnam) and the Vallet Foundation on September 21 organized an event to award Vallet scholarships in 2024 to 457 students in the northern provinces who have achieved excellent academic results, each worth 25 million VND for university student and 15 million VND for high school student.
The beneficiaries are students who won medals in international Olympic competitions, national valedictorians in university entrance exams in the 2024 high school graduation exam, science and technology exams and students with high academic achievements among others.

Bac Giang province has 10 students receiving Vallet scholarships in 2024.
Seven students are from Bac Giang High School for the Gifted, including 12 graders Than The Cong and Truong Phi Hung in Physics Class of 2023-2024 school year; 12 grader Giap Vu Son Ha in Chemistry class of 2023-2024 school year; 12 grader Nguyen Trung Tin in Mathematics class; 11 grader Nguyen Sy Lam in English class; 12 grader Nguyen Ngoc Huy in Physics class; 12 grader Nguyen Thai Tho in Physics class of 2024-2025 school year.
There are three students at Ngo Si Lien High School, including Nguyen Vu Quang Huy in class 12A3, school year 2023-2024; Rihova Thuy Anh in class 12A4 and Trinh Duc Minh in class 12A7, school year 2024-2025.
In 2024, the Rencontres du Vietnam and the Vallet Foundation award scholarships to 2,200 excellent students nationwide with a total value of more than 40 billion VND.
The Vallet Foundation was established in 1999 by Professor Odon Vallet (PhD in French Law, Professor of Religious History, and Writer of the French Republic). With the desire to contribute to the development of education, Mr. Odon Vallet decided to establish a scholarship fund to provide financial support to students with excellent academic achievements, helping them access high-quality education.
