82 new cooperatives established in Bac Giang
BAC GIANG - In 2024, Bac Giang province has 82 newly established cooperatives (reaching 102.5% of the plan), including 67 agricultural cooperatives and 15 non-agricultural cooperatives.

Up to now, the whole province has 1,189 cooperatives with more than 43,000 participating members, about 35% of cooperative management staff have intermediate or higher qualifications.
According to the Provincial Cooperative Alliance, in 2024, the collective economic sector and cooperatives continue to have stable development, diversified operations in many fields with increasingly improved quality so as to gradually affirm the advantages and role of cooperatives in the development of agricultural and rural economy.
By 2025, the province aims to establish at least 80 new cooperatives and admit 30 or more units to become members of the Provincial Cooperative Alliance.
BAC GIANG - Young workers in cooperatives serves as a "fresh breeze" that boosts production and business activities. However, this workforce currently represents a low percentage. Finding ways to attract high-quality young workers to the collective economy has become a pressing issue for various sectors.
The northern province of Bac Giang is setting the stage for a significant transformation in its agriculture sector, aiming to have around 60 cooperatives utilising high-tech solutions in production by the end of 2024.
