However, coach Park believes that Vietnam can gain good results in the match.
"Jordan is very powerful," he said. "They are quick and dangerous in long ball counter attacks. However, no team is perfect or unbeatable.
"Vietnam is going to have quite a tough match, but we can win if we are well-prepared and embrace our strengths," Park said.
Jordan head coach Vital Borkelmans considered Vietnam a strong opponent.
"I watched many of Vietnam’s games. They are strong and have many skilled players, with a fast paced and offensive playing style. With an opponent like that, our players have to focus on training and in the game, avoid making mistakes. Because our goal is to win," Borkelmans said.

Although ranked nine places lower than Vietnam on FIFA rankings, Jordan has done very well at Asian Cup this year, earning seven points in the group stage. Vietnam, on the other hand, only got three points, winning one match and losing the other two.
Vietnam also has less time to rest and recover their stamina than Jordan. The players only have three days off before playing their Round of 16
The game between Vietnam and Jordan will kick off 6 p.m. January 20 (Hanoi time) and will be reported live.
