“Check-in” at sweet fruit land
The pineapple field in Bao Son commune (Luc Nam district) annually draws a lot of visitors from April to August, especially the youth from near and far to enjoy the landscape and take photo. The picturesque background of about 400ha of pineapple trees create ideal space for people to capture unique image beside the crops at different stages of development.

Many come here in early summer when this area is a vast green field to the horizon while others are excited to present at harvest season to enjoy the bright orange and sweet flavor of the ripe fruits.
Chairman of Bao Son communal Farmer’s Association Duong Ngoc Vuong said the commune has planned to develop tourism in upcoming time to tap the available potential and seek the sources to support the member of Pineapple Production Cooperative to process various products from fresh fruit so as to serve visitors and increase the crop value.
Besides, the “Kingdom of lychee” Luc Ngan becomes the promise site for many people on the ripe fruit season of June and July. With more than 15,000 ha of lychee, the district zones of several sites to develop orchard tourism, arranges good destination with ease traffic to welcome visitors at the communes of Hong Giang, Thanh Hai and Quy Son among others.
Responding to tourism programme themed “Flavor of Luc Ngan summer” launched by Luc Ngan district People’s Committee from May to July, many agencies, companies and business households join hands to create tours to experience the fruit gardens, local relic site and natural landscapes.
Particularly, An Phu Tourism and Trading Cooperative in Tan Son introduces four two days one night tours to several sites of Cam Son lake, Bac Hoa ancient village (Tan Son commune), Day spring, Am Vai pagoda, Ha temple ….together with interesting activities of harvesting lychee, plum at the orchards in Tan Son commune.
Shining by lotus
Quang Chau commune grows biggest lotus area in Viet Yen district with nearly 30 ha which brings good income for the locals from lotus flower, stem and seed. For recent five years, the lotus lakes have welcomed great number of visitors in and outside the province to sightseeing and take photo, especially in weekend. The entrance fee is about 50,000 VND per turn.

Several groups of tourists took photo by themselves but others hired professional photographer to have images at the satisfaction. Best time to visit lotus lake is from late May till the middle of July.
Not only in Quang Chau, the lotus flowers are blooming at several lakes and pons in the districts of Viet Yen Yen Dung, Luc Nam, Hiep Hoa and Bac Giang city to welcome visitors. Typically, Rose Garden Studio in Da Mai ward, Bac Giang city is an attractive destination. This summer, the site introduces unique white lotus lakes covering over two mau (old measuring units, each equal to 3600 square meters).
The studio owner Le Van Duong said the new feature aims to create difference from other site. On this occasion, about 500 – 800 people visited the studio at weekend, most of them were youngsters who came to take photo.
Immersing in deep green and peaceful forest
Yen Dung district boasts for the rolling Nham Bien mountain range including one named Phuong Hoang (Phoenix) which houses Non Vua peak at an altitude of nearly 300m above sea level. Truc Lam Phuong Hoang Zen monastery was built halfway up the mountain where mountains and rivers harmonise and the scenery is tinted with legends.

The mountain road from Truc Lam Phuong Hoang Zen monastery to Non Vua peak is surrounded by trees and primitive landscapes that lure visitors. It is easy to travel from the foot of the mountain to the monastery with deep green pine trees and other plants whispering in the wind.
The beauty of Nham Bien mountain range, Non Vua peak, Truc Lam Phuong Hoang Zen monastery has attracted more and more visitors at weekend to hike, admire the relic site and natural landscape as well as keep fine photo.
On summer occasion, many youngsters visited Nga waterfall, Ven village (Yen The district), Cam Son lake, Khuon Than lake (Luc Ngan district), Mo spring (Luc Nam district), Tay Yen Tu, Khe Ro (Son Dong district) and other local destinations which are considered ideal places for camping, swimming and tasting local specialties amid mountainous and forest fresh air.
