The delegates spent one day visiting Xuong Giang Victory Relic Site in Bac Giang city, Hoang Hoa Tham Historical Relic Site in Yen The district and Bo Da pagoda in Viet Yen district.

In spite of unfavorable weather condition with little rain, the foreign visitors were interested in the tour to famous historical and tourism sites in Bac Giang.

The Team Manager of Indonesia delegation Eddy Prayitno said it is his first time he has ever come to Bac Giang province. He was truly impressed by this land. The province had similar weather and terrain condition like his hometown. The food in Bac Giang was delicious, the locals were so grateful. He said he will take his family back to the province.

The athletes were amused at the destinations, especially Bo Da pagoda. Female player Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti shared: “I am so surprised at the ancient beauty of Bo Da pagoda and the tower garden as well as Hoang Hoa Tham historical relic site. I really admire the farmer hero Hoang Hoa Tham who could lead an uprising against Frech colonist for 30 years. If I have chance, I will return Vietnam and visit Bac Giang later”.

Competing at Badminton in Bac Giang, Indonesia won three medals, including one gold for women’s doubles, one silver and one bronze for men’s doubles events.
