Vietnam win bronze medal in badminton women’s team at SEA Games 31

(BGO) – The final match of badminton women’s team at the ongoing 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31) took place on May 18 afternoon between Thailand and Indonesia delegations under the attendance of Indonesian Ambassador to Vietnam Denny Abdi and his spouse.

The first game witnessed competition between world No.10 badminton player Pornpawee Chochuwong of Thailand versa Indonesian player Putri Kusuma Wardani. Thailand athlete won overall match after tw o games.

In next women’s doubles game, Thailand still proved high level and better competition spirit by consecutive victory in two games, helping the delegation lead 2-0 at the final.

At the third one, Supanida Katethong of Thailand continued winning over Indonesian Stephani and made Thailand champion at the event.
