Li-Ning VietNam International Series 2024 to attract nearly 200 athletes from 15 countries and territories to Bac Giang.
BAC GIANG - The local Organizing Committee of the 2024 International Badminton Tournament on November 7 held a meeting on preparations for the "Li-Ning VietNam International Series 2024" in Bac Giang.
At the event, the Organizing Committee briefed about recent preparation work of the units.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has inspected and reviewed all existing facilities at the Bac Giang Provincial Gymnasium and the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center, arranged sufficient facilities and related conditions to organize the competition.

At the same time, departments, branches and agencies developed specific plans for implementation.
Based on the assigned tasks, the delegates discussed and clarified further contents related to the preparation for the tournament such as recruiting volunteers; arranging interpreters and volunteers to pick up and drop off the delegations; ensuring traffic safety, security and order among others.
The Organizing Committee listened to all the comments then study and supplement specific tasks.
The "Li-Ning Vietnam International Series 2024" Badminton Tournament will take place from November 12 to 17, 2024 at the Bac Giang Provincial Gymnasium (without opening ceremony as international practice).
Accordingly, 15 countries and territories have registered to compete with a total of 197 athletes (73 female athletes, 124 male athletes) including many countries with strong badminton movements such as: Thailand, India, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia...
Some delegations have many athletes participating in the event such as: Vietnam (83 athletes), Chinese Taipei (40 athletes), Indonesia (21 athletes)... Athletes compete in 5 events including: Men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.
