Bac Giang destinations welcome visitors on National Day

BAC GIANG – Several resorts and tourist attractions in Bac Giang province have been booked during the upcoming 4-day National Day holiday (September 1 – 4).  

During this long break, the community-based tourism sites and resort expect to welcome a highly increased number of visitors. To serve their demand, many establishments have invested in more equipment for accommodation and upgraded entertainment facilities.

Le Van Duong, owner of Rose Garden studio in Da Mai ward (Bac Giang city) said: "So far, nearly 200 guests have booked their stay in September 2 and 3. The studio expects to welcome about 200 – 300 tourist arrivals per day. We renovated and redecorated the tents for families to stay and carpeted the outdoor party area. At the same time, we invested in 3 kayaks so that visitors can enjoy sailing experience.”

The studio owner has cooperated with safe food suppliers to ensure the safety for guests during the holiday.

At Coi Nguon resort along the stream in Dong Vanh village, Luc Son commune (Luc Nam district), these days, in addition to 5 official employees, there are also 7 seasonal workers to clean and decorate the camps, reinforce the lighting systems, install more fans and outdoor grills.

All rooms here have been booked by guests on all public holidays. The number of visitors to the site is forecast to increase by about 30% compared to weekdays.

Because the tourism attraction is located by the river, stream and hill, the owner installed signs to remind visitors of keeping the environment clean. The waste is sorted and treated by the sanitation workers at the unit.

On this occasion, Ven village community eco-tourism site in Xuan Luong commune (Yen The district) launches various activities towards the origin, cultural and artistic exchanges and folk games among others.

To date, 80 percent of tents inside the tourist destination have been booked. Families usually stay for 2 days and 1 night while group guests only take one day tour. The site expects to receive about 3,000 guests during 4-day holiday.

Tay Yen Tu spiritual ecotourism complex expects to welcome thousands of visitors on the upcoming National Day.

Besides, the environmental sanitation, security and order, food safety and hygiene have been reinforced in Suoi Mo Ecotourism Area (in Luc Nam district), Khe Ro community tourist site in An Lac commune and Tay Yen Tu spiritual and ecological tourist area (in Son Dong district).

To promote local products and images, the management units cooperate with households and production facilities to display signature products to introduce and sell them to tourists.

The local attractions hope to welcome about 150,000 visitors during the National Day holiday.
