Bac Giang focuses on capital disbursement for national target programs
The province's total capital plan for NTP implementation in 2023 hit more than 1.1 trillion VND (46.6 million USD), including over 958 billion VND from central budget.

The provincial level has made detailed allocations in 5 installments, reaching 90.9 percent of the plan. Up to now, districts and cities have basically completed the detailed allocation of support capital for 2023.
The total capital plan transferred from 2022 to 2023 reached more than 360 billion VND while the disbursement value by the end of August 31 was over 173 billion VND, equal to 48 percent of the plan.
Speaking at the meeting, delegates analyzed and evaluated the reasons for slow disbursement of capital for NTP.
Concluding the meeting, PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong praised a number of departments, branches and localities for actively implementing the tasks and criticized units with low capital allocation and disbursement progress.
He emphasized on the crucial tasks and requested the departments, branches and localities to increase coordination, promptly exchange information with high determination from now till this year end to speed up the disbursement of NTP funds.
Members of the Provincial Steering Committee, heads of agencies and units who are program owners need to closely follow the grassroots, grasp difficulties and obstacles to solve them.
The districts and cities were urged to report the situation to the authority on difficulties and obstacles so as to direct the completion of assigned tasks.
The provincial leader asked relevant departments, branches and localities to prepare a monthly disbursement schedule and send it to the Department of Planning and Investment for summing up and reporting to the PPC Chairman
The province strikes to allocate all investment capital in September.
Regarding the recommendations of some localities, the PPC Chairman assigned the Department of Transport and the Department of Construction to consider shortening the project appraisal time.
