Bac Giang inaugurates solar lighting system

(BGO)- The people’s committee of Lang Son commune, Yen Dung district on 12 January held an inauguration ceremony of the solar lighting system in Son Thinh village. The event was attended by permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Mai Son.

The solar lighting system was built since early 2020 along the flower pathway and cultural center of Son Thinh village. The lighting system includes 13 light poles provided with a 60-watt LED bulb, a power grid, a battery, a charging controller and an optical sensor. 4 out of 13 light poles are added with windmill, turbine and wind navigator. The project costs total 645 million VND (27,830 USD) granted by Niinuma Company Limited.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Mai Son and other delegates visit the lighting system in Son Thinh village.

Apart from the light system in Son Thinh village, Niinuma Company granted the people’s committee of Lang Son commune with 4 smart light poles using solar power worth 240 million VND (10,355 USD).

According to the leaders of Lang Son communal people’s committee, the lighting system in Son Thinh village and the headquarter of the people’s committee has come into stable operation making important contribution to changing the rural face of the villages, ensuring security and social order and meeting local people’s travelling demand in the evenings.

At this event, the provincial permanent Vice Chairman Mai Son, leaders of Niinuma Vietnam Company, Yen Dung district Party Committee and Lang Son communal Party Committee cut a ribbon to inaugurate the solar lighting system. Besides, the delegates visited the lighting system on the main road of Son Thinh village.
