In 2023, Bac Giang's PCI index ranked 4th out of 63 provinces and cities. Since the beginning of the year, the whole province has attracted investment of more than 1.8 billion USD and ranked 9th nationwide in terms of foreign investment attraction.

Thanks to improved investment and business environment, Bac Giang becomes attractive destination for investors.

The above results were achieved because Bac Giang has implemented many solutions to create an open and attractive investment and business environment.

To continue improving the business investment environment, the province directed departments, branches and sectors to proactively and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles in sectors and fields.

At the regular meeting of the Provincial People's Committee in November 2024, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mai Son requested the Department of Planning and Investment to preside over and coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee to sign a Coordination Regulation with the Provincial Business Association to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles in production and business; improve the business investment environment and facilitate enterprises to develop production.

Implementing the directive, relevant units are currently preparing conditions and draft contents. The focus is that every month, the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Business Association will exchange information and grasp specific difficulties that enterprises encounter to direct solutions and handling.

The Provincial Business Association is in charge of summarizing general situation of enterprises, mainly on the hard issues such as site clearance, land allocation, labor recruitment, orders, technical barriers in trade defense; new legal regulations affecting projects, unfinished implementation work; progress of handling by competent agencies for enterprises' recommendation among others.
