Bac Giang’s labor market flourishes at year end season
BAC GIANG - The labor market in Bac Giang province at the end of the year received positive signals when there was no longer a situation of "job hopping". In particular, many enterprises signed new orders, started operating or expanded production and business, leading to the need to recruit a large number of employees. This created opportunities for employees to choose suitable job with better income and treatment.
According to statistics from the Provincial Employment Service Center (the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA), at this time, 30 enterprises registered their recruitment needs with the Center.

The total number of vacant positions is more than 43,000, about 80% of which are unskilled workers in the fields of manufacturing electronic components and equipment; solar panels and garment.
Some companies with large recruitment needs include Foxconn Technology Group in Quang Chau Industrial Park (14,000 people); Newwing Interconect Technology Co., Ltd (Bac Giang) in Van Trung Industrial Park (12,900 people); Luxshare-ICT Van Trung Co., Ltd in Van Trung Industrial Park (3,500 people); Lens Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd in Quang Chau Industrial Park (3,000 people); Crystal Martin Vietnam Co., Ltd in Quang Chau Industrial Park (2,000 people).
It is forecasted that the enterprises in the province will need to recruit more than 107,000 workers (including new recruits and replacements) in 2025 and over 24,000 people in the first quarter alone.
The large demand for human resources is a positive signal for the labor market. Because it not only demonstrates the effectiveness of the province's investment attraction policy but also creates healthy competition for human resources.
Currently, the province has 29 enterprises providing employment services (labor leasing). At this time, many of them have proactively participated in supporting companies in need of urgent recruitment.
For example, AMA Human Resources Joint Stock Company (Bac Giang City) quickly grasps the market and recruits labor in rural and mountainous areas.
Nguyen Tien Tuan, General Director of the company said: “In 2024, we provided about 18,000 workers to industrial parks in Bac Giang province and the provinces and cities of Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen and Hanoi. To achieve this result, in addition to promote recruiment on social networks, the company arranged human resources to participate in festivals and job fairs in many localities with large labor potential (Bac Kan, Ha Giang, Son La, Dien Bien).
According to Tran Van Ha, Deputy Director of the DOLISA, in response to the high demand for labor at the end of the year, there are some enterprises such as Foxconn Technology Group that urgently recruit 5,000 people in the next 7 days. The Department has focused on propaganda work about the labor market.
On December 20, the Department sent two official dispatches requesting the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of many provinces and cities; People's Committees of districts, township and city in the province to promote information on mass media about the recruitment needs of enterprises so that employees who are looking for jobs can apply.
At the same time, the Department directed the Provincial Employment Service Center to increase online job transactions; connect and introduce jobs to groups of workers receiving unemployment insurance so that they can soon return to the market.
A framework agreement was recently signed in Halberstadt city, Harz district, Germany’s Saxony-Anhalt state to strengthen the partnership in training and recruiting Vietnamese labourers.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on October 31 hailed labour partnership between Vietnam and Qatar as a traditional area of cooperation that leaders of the two countries have paid much attention to and the two sides can supplement each other.
A working delegation led by Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany Bärbel Kofler on October 29 visited LILAMA2 International Technology College (LILAMA2) in the southern province of Dong Nai in an effort to promote Vietnam-Germany cooperation in vocational training and labour migration.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang and Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Ba Hoan co-chaired a seminar in Hanoi, which sought ways bolster Vietnam-Europe labour cooperation.
BAC GIANG - On the afternoon of September 25, a working delegation from Bac Giang province led by Tran Van Ha, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA) worked with the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Bac Kan province on cooperating and promoting support for businesses to recruit labourers in Bac Giang province.
In recent years, the number of Vietnamese workers to Japan has accounted for more than 50% of the total number of workers sent abroad annually. Labour cooperation between the two countries has become increasingly valued and seen remarkable development.
