Accordingly, DOIT requested the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to grasp the production situation and weather conditions affecting quality and quantity of farm and food products while supervising livestock activities to seek solutions to ensure sufficient supply for the market in the peak months before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2025 (or Tet).

Besides, it is requested for close collaboration and timely information on production, cultivation and husbandry of raw agricultural products when any change occurs. In case there is a risk of sharp fluctuations in supply, it is necessary to timely announce DOIT to warn consumers to use alternative products to ensure a balance of supply and demand and stablise the market.

The provincial Market Management Department should inspect and control the market to prevent smuggling, production and trade of counterfeit and poor quality goods and those violate intellectual property rights while focusing on items of high demand on Lunar New Year occasion.

Besides, this Department was required to inspect price listing and sales of goods at the listed prices and regulations on food safety. Any violations should be strictly and timely handled in accordance with legal regulations.

The Bac Giang Electricity Company was requested to make plan to ensure safe, continuous and qualified power supply for citizens and businesses in the last months of 2024 and before, during and after Tet.

The people’s committee of the districts, town and city should encourage and create fabourable conditions for enterprises, cooperatives and business households to stimulate productions and business while supporting supply - demand connection.

Producers and traders should make plans on production, trade and supply of goods on Tet occasion as well as storing materials and fuels. Besides, they should actively engage in supply-demand connection and support for consumption of agricultural products. They were encouraged to diversify business forms, boost trade promotion and stimulate consumption.

Petroleum traders must strictly obey regulations, ensure petroleum supply, publicize supplier information, make plans for sharing supply resources and adjust discount appropriately, timely inspect and rectify wholesalers detected speculation, hoarding or failing to maintain the opening hours as regulated.

In addition, it is necessary to maintain sales activities at retail gasoline stations to guarantee continuous sales of goods to meet the demand of production, business and people’s living.
