The province boasts five national special, 96 national, hundreds of provincial relic sites, and 13 tourist spots. In recent years, the number of tourists to Bac Giang has increased significantly.

To show the pioneering role of young people, the youth unions of Lang Giang and Hiep Hoa districts, Viet Yen township and Bac Giang city have established clubs of tour guides with the participation of many students.

Present every Saturday and Sunday at the Suoi Mo Eco-Tourism Area in Luc Nam district, members of a volunteer club promoting the locality’s key historical relic sites passionately introduce local destinations to visitors. Equipped with knowledge and communication skills, these young guides confidently share cultural and historical insights.

The club was founded in April 2024 with 15 youth members. Mastering technology, its members have produced videos and photos showcasing Suoi Mo (Mo Spring) and other local landmarks, and posted them on platforms like YouTube and Facebook, attracting tens of thousands of views. They plan to digitize the relic sites into 3D formats with narrations.

Nguyen Huu Tien, a club member from Nghia Phuonng commune, Luc Nam district expressed his pride in the beauty of Suoi Mo. He said he has dedicated time to learning its history and unique features to promote it to tourists.

During religious ceremonies at Vinh Nghiem Pagoda in Yen Dung district, local students help visitors by sharing information about the site’s unique cultural features. Nguyen Thi Hong Lan, a visitor from Suoi Hoa ward, Bac Ninh city, Bac Ninh province appreciated the students' respectful and enthusiastic introductions, particularly regarding the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen sect and the UNESCO-recognized 3,050 wooden blocks at the pagoda.

Hoang My Linh, Deputy Secretary of Yen Dung district’s Youth Union, said the club is a pilot model implemented by the district youth union at Yen Dung 2 High School, fostering mutual support among members to enhance their understanding of local history and culture. This volunteer initiative not only broadens their knowledge but also contributes to preserving and promoting the value of historical sites.

Number of tourists to Bac Giang increases by 45%
