Bac Giang's work wins prize A at the 28th Viet Bac - Northwest Region III Fine Arts Exhibition
The exhibits are presented in popular materials and mediums such as lacquer, silk, oil paintings and sculptures. They vividly feature the life, land, culture, people, and socio-economic development throughout the region.

In her opening remark, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association Mai Thi Ngoc Anh hailed the quality of the works on display at the exhibition.
She applauded the artists for utilising the language of the art, in featuring the colour of life through their works. She also encouraged the artists to promote creativity and create more high-quality works for art lovers.
At the exhibition, the Vietnam Fine Arts Association presented one A, two B, three C, and six consolation prizes, to the best artwork.
The sculpture "Tropical Garden" (wooden statue) by artist Vu Cong Tri (Bac Giang) won prize A after passing many rounds of selection.

In addition, the Bac Giang delegation won a Consolation prize with the work "Fatherland's credit" (aluminum mound) by author Dang Van Tuan.
The event, co-organised by the Vietnam Fine Arts Association and Cao Bang Provincial People’s Committee, will run until September 30, at the provincial Convention Centre.
