(BGO) - The provincial Department of
Education and Training of Bac Giang province (DOET) signed a memorandum of
understanding (MOU) with One Heart for Healing Organization (OHH), Brazil on supporting
English teaching programs in the schools of Bac Giang province while cooperating
with other non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to support the province in providing
and repairing facilities to the schools in disadvantaged areas.

Accordingly, both parties will actively cooperate in order to support the successful implementation of the development projects in Bac Giang.

OHH will implement the planned activities such as providing volunteers from native and non-native English-speaking countries with TOEFL, TOEIC or IELTS certificates to support teaching and learning English activities in the schools of Bac Giang province.
Besides, they agreed to give support to the English teacher training programs of Bac Giang province while connecting other NGOs to support the province in providing and repairing facilities the schools in disadvantaged areas.
DOET is committed to facilitating the community development activities of OHH in the province while guiding and supporting OHH in all relevant procedures for the proper implementation of their projects in Bac Giang.
This MOU is valid within 3 years since the signing date.
Cultural exchange at English camp
(BGO) – The English camp 2018 jointly held by the Department of Education and Training (DoET) and Hanoi based English Institute in July 7 – 27 at Ngo Si Lien High School (Bac Giang city) brought several benefits to the students such as an opportunity to daily communicate in English, learn about American culture and further understand the lifestyle of international youth.
