Central Military Commission meets press agencies on Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day
The Central Military Commission of the Ministry of Defence met with press agencies on June 14 to celebrate the 99th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - 2024).
General Phan Van Giang, Member of the Politburo, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission and Minister of Defence, chaired the meeting.

Speaking at the event, General Phan Van Giang congratulated press agencies and journalists, appreciating their contributions to the cause of army building and development.
He also thanked press agencies for their effective coordination in disseminating information on military and defence activities at home and abroad, contributing to enhancing the prestige and position of the Vietnamese army.
In addition, he asked for close cooperation between the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of Defence and press agencies, to improve the efficiency of communication work in the future, specifically major events in 2024 and 2025, including the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army, the 35th anniversary of the All People Defence Festival and the second Vietnam International Defence Exhibition.
Representatives of press agencies also wished to work more closely with military units in handling and communicating complicated and sensitive events, shaping public opinion and fighting against distorted views of hostile forces.
