BAC GIANG - My maternal hometown is in Bai Da hamlet, Binh Son commune, Luc Nam district, Bac Giang province, a couple of kilometers from spiritual road 293. A few decades ago, hamlet was equivalent to village or production team of a commune. Long ago, Doi ancient village belonged to Vo Tranh county. Doi Son ancient village (commune) officially changed its name to Binh Son commune in 1958.

BAC GIANG- In order to develop unique and attractive cultural and spiritual tourism products on the side of Tay Yen Tu Mountain, the related agencies, localities, units and businesses have actively promoted and exploited the heritage values while boosting the linkage, thereby contributing to attract domestic and international tourists to Bac Giang.

The Yen Tu Complex of Monuments and Landscapes, known as the ancestral land of Vietnam’s Truc Lam Zen Buddhism, was recognised as a special national relic site by the Government. Therefore, turning Yen Tu into a national cultural and spiritual tourism centre is one of the long-term and sustainable development directions that is receiving attention and investment from Quang Ninh Province and Uong Bi City.

The Yen Tu special national relic site, a famous spiritual tourism destination in northern Quang Ninh province, attracts tens of thousands of Buddhists and visitors every spring. Few people, however, know that the site also has a unique and stunning beauty during the autumn season.

BAC GIANG - The Complex of Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac Monuments and Landscapes is a chain of cultural landscapes in the three provinces of Quang Ninh, Bac Giang and Hai Duong.
