There is good news for many localities and tourists, the provincial People’s Committee approved the Project on “Recovering the Holy Journey to propagate Buddhism of the Founders of Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen Sect” in 2023-2030 period.
The project will contribute to developing spiritual tourism of Tay Yen Tu (western Yen Tu) linked with the holy space of Dong Yen Tu (eastern Yen Tu) in Quang Ninh province and Con Son - Kiep Bac in Hai Duong province to create a network of spiritual tourism products.
Specially, in late September Vietnam submitted the dossier to UNESCO for recognition of the Complex of Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac Monuments and Landscapes in Quang Ninh, Bac Giang and Hai Duong as the world heritage. If the relic complex is recognized, it will be a firm foundation for preserving and promoting the heritage values associated to sustainable tourism development of the 3 provinces.
