Bac Giang preserves and promote unique values in Tay Yen Tu spiritual tourism development
Speaking at the seminar, Deputy Director of the DCST Do Tuan Khoa informed that the west of Yen Tu in Bac Giang province stretches through the districts of Yen Dung, Luc Nam, Luc Ngan and Son Dong in associated with the formation and development of Truc Lam Yen Tu Buddhism.

In recent years, the research and promotion of the value of Truc Lam Yen Tu Buddhism cultural heritage has been directed by the province with many results, helping promote local socio-economic development.
At the seminar, researchers and experts affirmed the value of spiritual and cultural tourism as well as the necessity of building a project. According to Assoc. Dr. Dang Van Bai, in order to develop cultural and spiritual tourism, Bac Giang province should pay attention to the public-private partnership model and develop the private economic factor in cultural activities.
The province also needed to research and build a database on the relics of Tay Yen Tu relating to Buddha Emperor Tran Nhan Tong's journey to the Buddhism in order to meet visitors’ demand for enjoyment and experience and increase the value of tourism products.
Local authority was encouraged to creating opportunities for tourism businesses to introduce cultural heritage combined services, open attractive tours and destinations. Particularly, the development of cultural and spiritual tourism must ensure the original elements of the heritage, protect the landscape toward sustainability.
The seminar was a scientific forum for researchers to clarify more information about the historical, cultural and religious values of the Tay Yen Tu land in Bac Giang as a basis for building the Project "Restoring the journey to Buddhism of the Great Founders of Truc Lam Yen Tu Buddhism". At the same time, it honored the value of Truc Lam Yen Tu Buddhism heritage and the relics and landscapes of Tay Yen Tu.
