Over 6 million USD invested in building belt road of Tay Yen Tu township

(BGO) – To perfect the transport planning and create complete transport network, during 2023 – 2026 period, the People’s Committee in Son Dong district, Bac Giang province will spend nearly 140 billion VND (over 6 million USD) from local budget to build the belt road of Tay Yen Tu township (Project) from Vot waterfall to Son Dong 3 Highschool.

Accordingly, the road will be invested in line with the standard of fourth grade mountainous road, consisting of two routes with total length of over 2.8 kilometers.

The first route has 27 meter road bed (15 meter road surface of asphalt concrete pavement on the base layer of crushed stone). The second has 22.5 meter road bed (10.5 road surface of asphalt concrete pavement on the base layer of crushed stone). Two route consists of water drainage projects, two bridges and traffic safety systems.

The district Management Board of Investment and Construction Project acts as the Project investor. As schedule, the Project will be commenced in 2024 and completed in 2026.

Its completion helps ease the commuters in travelling and ensure traffic safety for locals in Tay Yen Tu township as well as build new routes to connect provincial road 291 and 293.
