Da Nang named among top eight places to visit in Asia in 2025
Vietnam’s central coastal city of Da Nang has been named in the list of the eight coolest places to head to in 2025 by British magazine Time Out.
In an article on December 20, the magazine revealed 2025 recommendations for Asia, including eight destinations encompassing previously hard-to-reach or overlooked spots, offering alternatives to places feeling the pressure of over tourism.

The destinations were chosen by the magazine’s network of editors across the world who have got an incredible base of local knowledge to call on, whether that’s for things to do or places to eat.
According to the article, Da Nang — the Vietnamese beach destination nestled between the South China Sea and Son Tra Mountain — has claimed third place thanks to its flourishing restaurant and cocktail scene.
At the top of the bucket list is Sumba, an unspoiled Indonesian island. Meanwhile, Siargao, a tear-drop shaped island in the Philippines, won second place.
