Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam pays visit to Bac Giang’s enterprises and laborers after Tet holiday

(BGO) – On February 11, the Member of the Central Party Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam paid a visit to encourage the enteprises and laborers in the northern province of Bac Giang after 9-day Lunar New Year holiday. He was accompanied by Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Nguyen Van Linh; Vice PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong and Vice President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu.  

Visiting and presenting the gifts to the local businesses and 50 disadvantaged workers (each worth 1.3 million VND or 56 USD) at SJ Tech Vietnam Company Limited (Van Trung Industrial Park, Viet Yen district) and Bac Giang Urban Project Management Joint Stock Company (Bac Giang city) on the first working day after the national biggest festival, Deputy PM encouraged the leaders and laborers to join the emulation in production and fulfill all asks and plans set for 2019.

Recognizing the laborers’ efforts, he hoped the local party, governmental authority and trade union to pay further collaboration and attention to gradually improving the workers’ material and spiritual life, especially handling the house and cultural system. Deputy PM expressed the important role of the workers in creating the stabilization and development of the enterprises and the province.

At the same day, Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam and the members had a working session at the provincial Party Committee’s Office. The delegation was welcomed by Bui Van Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; Nguyen Van Linh, PPC Chairman; Le Thi Thu Hong, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Head of the provincial National Assembly Deputies and the PPC Vice-Chairpersons.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Secretary Bui Van Hai thanked the Deputy PM for the encouragement and attention to the local enterprises and laborers in the early Spring occasion.

After the provincial Secretary addressed the provincial socio-economic development last year, the Deputy PM lauded the achievement and pressed that the local authority should focus on the sustainable factor in task implementation, especially enhancing the active measurements to respond to social issues such as healthcare and environmental protection.

Regarding environmental protection, the Deputy PM considered communication as key points to improve residential awareness, typically the youngsters. Because Bac Giang is home to an abundant workforce and capable of luring a strong investment, he expected the province to create favorable conditions to the businesses’ long term development so as to offer stable jobs to the laborers.
