The delegation worked with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to grasp local production situation and conditions for exporting lychees to the EU market in 2024. 

Also, they visited the production area of early ripening lychee in Phuc Hoa commune (Tan Yen district); packaging facility for export at Tri Yen High-tech Agricultural Cooperative (Yen Dung district), Toan Cau Food Import-Export Joint Stock Company (Luc Ngan district) in order to know about the scale and step to produce, package, preliminarily process and preserve the fruits. 
The leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and districts  Tan Yen, Yen Dung, Luc Ngan exchanged with businesses and foreign experts about a number of solutions to strengthen coordination in propaganda and promotion work so as to introduce lychee products to the UK market and some other countries. 
In the coming time, the two sides will cooperate and transfer to the province a number of production lines together with advanced and modern technological processes to improve the efficiency of cultivation, preservation and deep processing of products from fresh lychee fruit so as to meet the criteria of the importing country.

Bac Giang province currently has 130 lychee growing area codes for exporting to foreign markets like China, the United States, Japan...; 38 packaging facilities for exporting fresh lychees to China and one to Japan.
