Vietnamese citizens and passengers entering Vietnam are now able to declare their health status via two applications, namely “NCOVI” and “Vietnam health declaration” that were launched in Hanoi on March 9.
This is the latest effort by Vietnam in the fight against the acute respiratory disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19).

Data collected through the apps will enable the domestic health sector to learn about cases in need of medical support in the fastest and most effective manner.

Meanwhile, passengers entering Vietnam are recommended to use the “Vietnam health declaration” app for the same purposes.
As of late March 9, Vietnam had reported 31 COVID-19 infection cases, of them 16 had been discharged from hospital after their complete recovery. The latest 15 cases, including five Vietnamese and 10 foreigners, are being in quarantine.
Airlines asked to inform passengers of e-health declarations
The Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam (CAAV) has asked airlines to inform all passengers, both Vietnamese and foreigners, on the requirement to fill in electronic health declaration forms before boarding flights to Vietnam, starting from 6:00 am on March 7.

Bac Giang fosters health supervision of people coming from RoK’s epidemic-hit areas
(BGO) - Facing the
complicated happenings of the acute respiratory disease caused by a novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), especially the
epidemic outbreak in Republic of Korea (RoK), the Steering Committee for
disease prevention and control of Bac Giang province urged the directors and
leaders of the provincial departments, agencies, organizations and chairpersons
of the districts and city to fulfill some urgent duties for timely and
effective prevention of the disease.
Bac Giang closely grasps number of people from RoK for health supervision
(BGO) - According to the
provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA), there
are about 1,300 Bac Giang’s people working in Republic of Korea (RoK). Besides,
the province is home to 340 Korean people working for the companies outside the
industrial parks. The provincial Industrial Zones Authority is urgently
checking the number of Korean labourers working in the industrial parks.
