The festival is an opportunity to promote and introduce the ecological potential, the unique natural landscape and the cultural identities of ethnic groups to develop tourism and services in the district.

Hong Thai is a highland commune of Na Hang District, located at an altitude of over 1,280m above sea level, with majestic mountains and hills and cool air all year round. This is considered an attractive tourist attraction.

At the festival, there will be many special activities such as a fire dance performance of the Red Dao ethnic group; a paragliding performance on terraced fields at Hong Thai Commune; experiencing the golden terraced fields; check-in, hunting clouds, and watching the sunset; and a rice harvesting contest in the terraced fields at the Khau Trang community cultural tourism village.

The festival also displays, introduces and sells typical agricultural products and tourist souvenirs.

The festival will run until October 9.
