Some localities have a large number of relic sites that need renovation, including Yen Dung 10, Lang Giang 8, and Tan Yen 7... For special national relics, the province will support 50 percent of the total restoration cost, but not more than 1.5 billion VND (65,000 USD).

The figures for national and provincial relics are 50 percent but not more than 1 billion VND (43,300 USD), and 30 percent but not exceeding 500 million VND (21,670 USD), respectively. Currently, the localities with relic sites to be upgraded are balancing funding sources and mobilizing resources, especially from organisations and individuals, to renovate the relic sites in order to ensure the set plan.

In the 2020-2025 period, Bac Giang province will support the renovation of 219 recognized historical and cultural relic sites that have been degrading, including 13 special national, 23 national and 183 provincial relic sites. The assistance aims to promptly solve the degradation of the relic sites, improve their sustainability and origin, and meet the people's demand for religious and cultural activities, while promoting the potential and advantages of heritages for local socio-economic development.

Public investment disbursement rises 10.6% in first two months

Almost VND40.9 trillion (US$1.77 billion) of public investment was disbursed in the first two months of 2021, equivalent to 9% of the year’s plan – the highest level compared to the same period of the last five years.
