The inter-ministerial delegation was composed of representatives from the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

According to the project proposal, Bac Giang’s golf course and resort project are located in the Eastern economic zone of the province, in Chu Dien, Khue Lang and Yen Son communes (Luc Nam district). The project has a reasonable geographic location for the construction of golf courses and resorts with beautiful landscapes, mainly hills and mountains, including low-productivity plantation land, annual cropland, fallow land and water surface. This area has the land status in accordance with the construction criteria for golf course according to regulations.

According to the survey, the project's planned location is the underdeveloped, under-urbanized area of Luc Nam district.This is a sparsely populated area with 350 affected households, and 12 households subject to land recovery for construction of golf courses, are mainly for livestock farming. Developing a golf course project is the best way to use land economically and effectively so as to contribute to promoting economic, tourist, sport and service development in localities; and to create jobs...

As planned, Bac Giang’s golf course and resort project will be built on an area of 199 hectares, includes 36 hole golf courses with a total investment capital of around VND 1.2 trillion by Truong An Development And Investment Construction Joint Stock Company as an investor.

Through the field trip, the interministerial delegation agreed on the investment objective, scale of the project, structure of land-use status, and feasibility of the project.The interministerial delegation also proposed to Bac Giang People's Committee to direct the departments, branches to review the contents related to the planning work, the land usage status, protection method for environment and landscapes during project execution and planning so as to ensure the correct order and procedures in line with the legal regulation.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Anh Duong thanked the ministries and central-level branches for their concern and support to the socio-economic development of the province. He emphasized that, if invested and operated, Bac Giang’s golf course and resort project will effectively exploit the land fund and create a motive force for boosting the economic development of the region.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Anh Duong assigned Department of Planning and Investment to actively coordinate with relevant authorities, departments and branches and Luc Nam district People's Committee to review and adjust the contents as requested by the inter-ministerial delegation; soon complete and submit to the competent authorities for consideration and approval the project planning.
