Concluding the event, Tuan noted that there will still be many difficulties and challenges in the fourth quarter of 2024 so authorities at all levels and sectors must continue to drastically, uniformly, and effectively implement the tasks and solutions as directed by the Government and the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, and People’s Committee, striving to complete the development plans and targets for 2024.
The focus will be on implementing the resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee regarding the rearrangement of administrative units at the district and commune levels, he said, noting this is a priority task for the province at this time, with a substantial workload.
Therefore, he requested that all-level authorities and sectors concentrate on ensuring the conditions for the stable operations of the units post-rearrangement from January 1, 2025.
He assigned the Department of Home Affairs to coordinate with relevant units to propose a comprehensive plan for implementing the resolution, specifying each task and clearly outlining the timeline and responsibilities of each agency and department.
He also tasked them with advising the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee to establish an organising committee for a provincial announcement ceremony and a plan for organising this ceremony.
Plans for reallocating civil servants and public employees to the expanded Bac Giang city, Chu township, and Luc Ngan district must be completed by November 30, 2024.

The Department of Planning and Investment and the Office of the provincial People’s Committee need to closely coordinate with the Government Office to soon submit to the Prime Minister for approval the adjusted provincial master plan to facilitate in-principle investment approval for power projects serving investment attraction and industrial production in the province, he stated.
It is necessary to mobilize maximum legal capital sources to immediately strengthen severely damaged crucial dikes, embankments, lakes and dams, and develop plans for rebuilding, repairing, upgrading, and constructing facilities to ensure preparedness for responding to natural disasters and flooding that may occur in the upcoming months, especially in the last months of 2024, he said.
The official stressed the need to continue to implement solutions to increase budget revenues; focus on resolving difficulties, stepping up land use fee collection, and thoroughly addressing land use debt to secure funding for development investment. Sectors should review the targets and tasks for the year, and take specific solutions to tasks with poor performance, he noted.
