LED light tunnel in the heart of Saigon charms visitors

The place was packed with visitors on the opening day, March 15. The lights are arranged to allow visitors to easily move around and admire them.
There installation has two themes: the classic Vietnamese image of fresh lotus blossoms on water and a garden of sakura, Japan's national flower.
The showpiece is the tunnel with thousands of LED lights and decorated with fabric leaves. The tunnel is four meters wide and its main color is pink to make it redolent of sakura flowers.
The organizers have also installed multicolored lights on the grass in the park.
The display spans around 1,000 square meters, and drew crowds of locals and visitors who came to take pictures.
Tran Ngan was passing by when she was attracted by the lights, and went with her daughter to check them out. "The lights create a beautiful color effect," the 29-year-old said.

As the night went by more and more people poured in, and security guards constantly had to remind them not to step on the lights.
The lights will be on for a month.
Bach Dang Wharf Park, more than a kilometer long, lies along the Saigon River and opposite Nguyen Hue walking street. It was renovated in 2022. Locals and tourists come here for a stroll, and it is often crowded during holidays.
