Ninh Thuan to host international kitesurfing week 2022

"International Kitesurfing Week and Ninh Hai-Ninh Thuan Cultural and Tourism Events 2022" will take place from December 16-25, with many exciting activities.

The People's Committee of Ninh Hai District, Ninh Thuan Province, held a press conference on the "International Kitesurfing Week and Ninh Hai-Ninh Thuan Cultural and Tourism Events 2022”programme on November 23.

At the press conference, Chairman of the Ninh Hai District People's Committee Tran Minh Thai said that the event aims to strengthen linkage and cooperation in tourism development between localities, thus creating opportunities for travel businesses inside and outside the province to explore andexpand the market as well as build new tours.

The event also aims to raise awareness and responsibilities of all levels, sectors and ethnic minorities in preserving and promoting good traditional cultural identities, natural resources for tourism development.

At the same time, the event also aims to introduce and promote cultural values, types of eco-tourism, community, sports, typical agricultural products, in order to attract investment resources to develop tourism in Ninh Thuan Province in the future.

Along with the series of events, there are many other activities, such as: a boat race on Dam Nai, a women's beach volleyball competition, conquering Na Ra-Binh Tien Golf course, Sailing Bay Ninh Chu International Kitesurfing Festival, Vinh Hy Golden Apricot Flower Festival associated with an OCOP pavilion exhibition, and a journey to discover Nui Chua Biosphere Reserve.

In addition, cultural programmes, arts, folk games, food culture, a Christmas market, child modelling and carnivals will take place every night.
