Party chief Nguyen Phu Trong to visit China

General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee (CPVCC) Nguyen Phu Trong will pay an official visit to China from October 30 to November 2.

The visit is made at the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and President of China Xi Jinping, announced the CPVCC’s Commission for External Relations on October 25.
General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong on October 23 offered congratulations to Xi Jinping on his re-election as General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee.
Party General Secretary and Secretary of the Central Military Commission Nguyen Phu Trong on October 11 met 80 outstanding delegates representing 450 delegates attending the 10th Congress of the Military Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for the 2022-2027 tenure.
Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong stressed that many major issues have been implemented for a long time but the results have not met expectations, thus requiring new resolve and new measures to address them at a different scale to meet the requirements of the new situation.
Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong asked Ho Chi Minh City to give priority to infrastructure construction and create a "stronger breakthrough" in the field.
Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong affirmed that the Vietnamese Party, State and people always support the cause of national construction and development of Cambodia during a reception in Hanoi on September 13 for President of the Cambodian National Assembly Samdech Heng Samrin.
