Programme provides glimpse of Vietnamese culture to Austrian people
The programme was attended by Vietnamese Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son, during his official visit to Austria, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong, Vietnamese Ambassador to Austria Nguyen Trung Kien, Overseas Vietnamese people in Austria, and residents.

The two-day event included a photo exhibition on the 50-year friendship and partnership between Vietnam and Austria, since the establishment of the bilateral diplomatic relations in 1972, and a display entitled ‘Vitality of Vietnam’ which introduced visitors to attractive tourist destinations in Vietnam.

At the same time, visitors to the programme were provided with an opportunity to explore traditional Vietnamese cultures, such as Vietnamese tea art, Dong Ho folk painting, lacquer painting, and traditional musical performances, under the instruction of tea maser Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, folklore artisan Nguyen Dang Tam, and painter Tran Anh Tuan.
Performances of Vietnamese traditional musical instruments and a fashion show of Vietnamese Ao Dai were also staged for the occasion.
