Second show of 'Sing for Life - Sing for Love' concert to be aired tonight

The second show of ‘Sing for Life – Sing for Love’ virtual concert series will be broadcast on digital platforms at 8:10pm today (August 12, 2021), with the participation of artists both at home and abroad.

Tonight’s show, themed ‘Then we will meet’, is expected to bring a boundless musical experience to the audience with new mixes and interesting interactions from artists.

The second show of 'Sing for Life - Sing for Love' virtual concert series will be broadcast on digital platforms at 8:10pm on August 12.

The ‘Sing for Life - Sing for Love’ programme was initiated by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee (HCYU) and its partners to raise funds to help the needy overcome difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The programme is scheduled to be broadcast live at 8:10 pm on Thursdays in the second and fourth week every month.

The first show, held on July 18, raised over VND315 million (US$13,800) and 20,000 N95 medical masks, which were sent to needy workers in Southern provinces and cities including Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Thap, Dong Nai and Tien Giang.

The second show will see the participation of artists and musical personalities of generations from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and the US, such as Thu Phuong, Van Mai Huong, Nguyen Tran Trung Quan, Ali Hoang Duong and others.

The show will be broadcast on the ‘Sing for life - Sing for love’ fanpage, the social networking channels of the Vietnam Youth Union and the TikTok platform.

All money raised from the second concert will be used to buy essential goods for needy workers in Hanoi.
