With two victories over France’s Qi Xuefei and Jaquet and one loss against Tai Tzu-Ying of Taiwan (China), Linh completed the group stage campaign in second place and had to bid farewell to her 2020 Olympic journey.

Earlier on the same day, Tai Tzu-Ying comfortably beat Qi Xuefei 2-0 (21-10, 21-3) to advance as the Group P winner.
